Little China | Complete the Side Job Chippin’ In |
This quest will become available immediately after Chippin’ In ends. Call Rogue and set up a date for this evening, then travel to Afterlife and wait on some stairs until the appointed time (after 7:00 PM), or, if the time is right, head downstairs. Pick Rogue up at the door, then drive her to your destination - the Drive-In Theatre at the northern end of North Oak.
The theatre’s defunct now, so you’ll have to sneak in. Enter a room to the left of where Rogue waits, turn right to find a door, and enter the code “0000” on the door control terminal. You can find this code by using a computer in the same room, going to “Messages” and reading the message “Severance”.
Once inside the grounds you’ll be directed to get the projector running. Turn left and head upstairs to reach the projection booth, then interact with the projector to get it running. Once that’s done, V’s role in the quest is done - take your pills and let the two old-timers play. Pick what dialogue options you want as Johnny, and when Rogue leaves Johnny will put you back in control. This ends Blistering Love and begins the next job [Holdin’ On]
Despite the uncertain footing this quest ended on, it should unlock Rogue’s ending, and if you already befriended Johnny during Chippin’ In and completed Panam’s Side Job questline you should have access to all the available endings. The upcoming Side Job, [Holdin’ On] has its own story merits and can result in a romance (male V only), but if you’re mostly concerned with endings at this point, there’s no need to progress further, in which case Nocturne Op55N1 awaits.
