Pyramid Song is the fifth and final Side Job in Judy’s questline. To start it, you must complete Pisces, and during that quest you must either fight the Tyger Claw bosses, or if you put Maiko in charge, you must not accept the reward she offers. After that, it’s just a matter of waiting until this quest begins.
When Pyramid Song starts, Judy will invite you to come spend some time with her. This quest will ultimately determine your ongoing relationship with Judy, if any, and while there are a lot of ways to botch this, most of them are painfully obvious to the point of not being worth mentioning. Much like most of the choices in Judy’s questline, the majority of the ways you can fail is by non-participation. Just don’t outright refuse to do the quest and you’ll be fine for the majority of it.
After your dive you and Judy will head into the bungalow, and shortly thereafter you’ll be sent outside to turn on a generator. Return to the bungalow and knock on the bathroom door to check up on Judy, then head inside, sit down, and talk to her. When a timed dialogue check pops up you’ll get a chance to determine where your relationship with Judy goes:
- [Touch] “It is ours.”: Have sex with Judy, romance possible.
- [Lean away] “Bad idea.”: Friend-zone Judy, romance not possible.
-
[Comfort] “Why didn’t you wanna tell me?”: Friend-zone Judy, romance not possible.
- [Kiss] Stop thinking about it.“: Have sex with Judy, romance possible.
Romancing Judy¶
Pick options [Touch] “It is ours.” or [Kiss] Stop thinking about it.“ to have sex with Judy, which you’ll want to do if you intend to romance her. After soem scenes you’ll wake up in the bedroom the next morning. Grab your clothes and go talk to her outside to get two more options:
- “The beginning of something amazing.”: Starts romantic relationship with Judy.
- “A pleasant distraction”: Angers Judy.
At this point, romancing Judy is as simple as saying “The beginning of something amazing.”, which will get you access to her apartment and possibly influence the ending of the game. If you say “A pleasant distraction”, however, you’ll sabotage any potential relationship with Judy, who storms off. Not even friend-zoned at this point.
Befriending Judy¶
Things aren’t quite a dichotomy between romancing Judy and not romancing Judy. Ending up as friends isn’t all bad, as it gets you access to her apartment, and there are ways to walk away from this questline without even friendship. Picking the option [Lean away] “Bad idea.” or [Comfort] “Why didn’t you wanna tell me?” without then following up with [Kiss] Stop thinking about it.“ will effectively friend-zone Judy.
If you friend-zone Judy, she’ll go sleep on the couch, and Johnny will appear and complain about her, giving you two responses:
- “Fine. Let’s go.”: Ditches Judy. Friendship not possible.
- “Not about to leave her here alone.”: Friendship possible.
If you ditch Judy, leave the bungalow, get your clothes, and the quest will end. No friendship, no apartment.
If you ignore Johnny and stay the night, in the morning pick up your clothes, go outside and talk to Judy, who will give you access to her apartment.
