As you progress deeper into the storyline of the new MW3 Zombie mode, players are tasked to do more scouring tasks. One of the more troublesome of the lot is the Essence of Aether, requiring you to go hunting for vats of Aether around the area, all the while avoiding monsters and mercs alike. Essence of Aether Locations in MW3 Zombies¶

You need to find three locations to complete the Essence of Aether Locations in MW3 Zombies.

1. Essence Sample from the container in Hamza Bazaar
2. Essence Sample from the container in Rostova Shopping District
3. Essence Sample from the container in Quadri Shopping Center in Zaravan City.

Each of these areas resembles a POI area in the game that you can visit. To assist with these locations, we have provided a map with the relevant numbers on the map corresponding with the numbers above.

You will find the number and an arrow pointing to the map’s exact location. They will always be inside buildings, so make sure you check indoors. You’ll often find them propped up on furniture, such as tables. Simply walk up to them and interact with the objects to tick off the objective, and complete the Essence of Aether mission in MW3 Zombies mode.

Remember that you need to do a bit of cross-country adventuring if you intend to find all three in the same sitting. We recommend grabbing a vehicle as soon as possible, keeping it fueled, and traveling, avoiding the Mercenary Convoys. Make sure to visit gas stations and fuel up, keep those tires repaired, and avoid splattering too many zombies not to break the vehicle. Once you have all three, proceed with however much time you have left on your mission timer or extract to get the next mission selected and ready to go.
