There are tons of attachments available for the variety of weapons in the game, but unlike previous Call of Duty’s, unlocking them works a little differently, as you need to complete a number of daily challenges before they become usable. Read below to learn more about unlocking Attachments.

How to Unlock Attachments in MW3¶
Once you’ve gained access to load-outs at Level 4, then you’ll notice that you can add different attachments to your weapon to improve their performance. However, unlike the previous games in the franchise, simply leveling the weapon up isn’t enough to obtain them, as you’ll now need to select an attachment you like and then you’ll have to complete 2-5 challenges to unlock it. In MW3 there are Daily Challenges, Weekly Challenges, and Armory Unlock Challenges so there’s always a way to get the attachment you want.
If you find yourself running out of daily challenges before you can obtain your attachment, then don’t worry as you’ll always get one challenge completion per match completion. This makes getting your attachments, weapons, and Killstreaks a lot faster and more enjoyable as you don’t need to spend every match trying to attempt difficult challenges, such as getting headshots with a Pistol so we recommend that you try completing the daily challenges as quickly as possible.
