There are a variety of trophies/achievements in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and they will require you to play certain missions in a unique way to obtain them. Read below to find out how to obtain the Floater Trophy in the Precious Cargo Mission.
Precious Cargo is the second main mission in the game.
How to Get The Floater Trophy in MW3¶
You’ll need to progress through the game until you reach the first open combat mission Precious Cargo. These are a new addition to MW3 that features a large open area where you have more room to explore instead of following a linear path ahead. Additionally, you can find items such as Weapons, Field Upgrades, Armaments, and Plate Carriers which are required for certain trophies. From the beginning of the mission, you’ll want to walk down the road until you pass the truck and enter the container with an orange open door next to it.
Inside, you’ll find the MTZ-556 Assault Rifle and Silenced WSP Swarm SMG, but more importantly you’ll want to grab the Parachute from the floor. With the Parachute in your possession, exit the container and run all the way down the road whilst clearing out all the enemies that are scattered around the area, then climb up the crane via the ladder closest to the building in the southeastern corner. From here, you’ll want to jump off and activate your Parachute by pressing X
