The KATT-AMR is one of the new Sniper Rifles added to Modern Warfare 3 and it’s a popular choice due to its extremely high damage making your shot a one-shot kill. Every Weapon in MW3 has a bunch of challenges to complete in order to earn cool-looking Camos. If you’re wondering what the KATT-AMR challenges are, then this page will tell you everything you need to know.

KATT-AMR Camo Challenges in MW3¶
The KATT-AMR Camo Challenges are as follows:

KATT-AMR Challenges Tips in MW3¶
There are eight challenges available for the KATT-AMR, but all the following base challenges are the same for all Sniper Rifles: Get 50 Kills, Get 50 Kills shortly after ADS (Aiming-Down-Sights), Get 3 Kills with One Magazine 10 times and Get 15 One-Shot One-Kills. We recommend that you level the weapon up enough so you have the challenges unlocked, then you should be able to complete the majority of them together which will save a lot of time. Challenges 1, 2 and 4 can easily be done together by simply playing objective based game modes, such as Control or Domination and sitting back whilst picking off anybody that runs past.
As for getting kills shortly after ADS which means essentially quickscoping is going to be very tricky for most average players, so you’ll want to equip attachments that decrease the amount of time to ADS, then when you go to shoot an enemy you’ll want to quickly drag and position your scope slightly in front of the enemy so they essentially run into your bullet. Alternatively, if you’re more advanced with Snipers then you want to play the smaller maps, such as Favela and Rust and quickscope people in close-quarters combat.
KATT-AMR Gilded Camo Challenge and Higher Mastery Level Challenges in MW3¶
Once you’ve completed the four basic camos you’ll move on to the KATT-AMR Gilded Camo Challenge which requires you to get 10 kills using Focus Down Sights. To do this, you’ll want to try and play on long-range maps such as Wasteland or Derail and find a point on the map where you can get long-distance kills, then when you go to take the shot hold in the left stick on console to Focus Down Sights. This will temporarily reduce shakiness in your aim, allowing you to be more accurate. Upon completion of the KATT-AMR Gilded Camo Challenge, you’ll need to unlock the Gilded Camo for the remaining two Sniper Rifles before you can move onto the KATT-AMR Forged Camo Challenge.

This challenge will require you to get 15 Penetration Kills which means taking out an enemy which is sitting behind cover, so you’ll want to play Hardcore and equip Armor Piercing Rounds to your weapon and hope you come across players sitting behind cover. This is a challenge that you’ll want to forget about and do it naturally whilst playing otherwise you’ll miss a lot of opportunities if you focus on trying to hit enemies behind cover.
You’ll then need to obtain the Forged Camo for all 36 Weapons before you can finally move onto the Priceless Camo Challenge which requires you to get three headshots which can easily be done by picking off enemies from a distance while trying to keep your aim slightly above the head.
