For all the heavy grinders out there, Modern Warfare 3 has a very nice reward for completing the completionist efforts in its Multiplayer. The new end goal weapon camo, the Interstellar, is the reward for showing off your challenge effects, allowing you to flex on all those you come against. Yet, the grind to get it is tough. Here’s everything you need to know to unlock Interstellar Camo in MW3.

How to get Interstellar Camo in MW3¶

To unlock Interstellar Camo in MW3, you will need to complete a long grind:

1. Complete all four base camos for 36 different weapons.
2. Unlock Gilded Camo for the same 36 weapons
3. Unlock Forged Camos by getting enough Gilded Camos in a category
4. Completing the Forged Camo Challenges
5. Grind for 36 Forged Camos to unlock the Priceless Camos
6. Complete 36 Priceless Camo Challenges for weapons that have earned their Forged Camo.
7. Completing 36 Priceless challenges will award you with an Interstellar Camo for all relevant guns.

As you can see, to unlock the Interstellar Camo in MW3, you will need to grind 36/37 of the grindable guns available in the preseason of MW3. As time goes on, you can grind weapons that unlock via the seasons to replace any weapons you absolutely hate grinding. But you have to choose between the weapons in preseason and focus on what you can until that happens.

The best way to tackle this is to go through a weapon category at a time. Start with something nice and easy like SMGS and ARS, and level the most useful and meta guns and get used to those playstyles. From there, you will gradually tick through the base camos, and get Gilded as you play the game and level up. When you start getting all Gilded in a weapon category, you can then grab the Forged, and then move through the categories to get more Forged and finally the Priceless camos.

And when all that is done, you’ll have completed the multiplayer completionist camo challenges in MW3. However, there are still many to come, with more completionist camos available for Modern Warfare 3 weapons in zombies, along with more zombie camos for Modern Warfare 2 guns too.
