Marksman Rifles are an acquired taste when it comes to Call of Duty, and their role is no different here in MW3. Not quite as many as Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns, the Marksman Rifle category has four weapons for you to choose from and the KVD Enforcer is the first one you’ll gain access to. While the DM56 is arguably the best the class has to offer, the KVD Enforcer is still an effective weapon at range despite its somewhat inconsistent recoil. There are eight Camo Challenges for you to work on, so grab your rifle and let’s go hunting!

KVD Enforcer Challenges Tips in MW3
When it comes to Camo challenges in MW3, you’ll discover that most guns have eight to unlock, four base, and four higher mastery. Fortunately, you’ll be able to work on the first five of these challenges without touching another gun, of which the final three require grinding other guns before you can undertake their challenge. With that in mind, your first task should be to fully level the KVD Enforcer (if you have Weapon XP Tokens, use them!) so that you unlock the four base Camos, that way you can work on all four of them simultaneously, and for the Marksman Rifle, these are: Get 50 Kills with the weapon, 50 Headshot Kills, 10 Kills with no attachments equipped, and finally two Kills without dying 15 times.
The name of the game with the Marksman Rifle class is to keep at a distance, but on the move (so scopes with Magnification are always a good choice). The first two challenges are no-frills kill tasks, you’ll find that you might already have done these by the time you’ve finished leveling the weapon (scopes will help with the Headshots). Challenge 3 is a tough one, by default, the KVD Enforcer features the worst recoil of any of the Marksman Rifles so you’re going to have to deal with that and the fact that you can’t slap a scope on the weapon means it’s going to be tougher from range. Instead, jump into Hardcore and use the fact that your enemies will go down in a single shot to get the challenge out of the way. The final base challenge just needs you to stay alive after the first kill, this is simple if you have a scope and stick to long-range.
The KVD Enforcer (and Marksman Rifles in general) are long-range weapons, so you’ll want to avoid maps such as Rust (unless you’re able to get on top and take aim at hapless opponents on the ground) and instead opt for maps like Wasteland or Terminal (there’s a great spot in the freezer that gives you a good angle down the most popular lane). Objective-based modes are always a good choice if you’re looking to tally up kills, wait for your targets to dart into the objectives, and then pick them off. You will, however, want to switch to Hardcore for Base Challenge 3, as mentioned above, to try and alleviate some of the pain of having no attachments on this weapon.
KVD Enforcer Gilded Camo Challenge and Higher Mastery Level Challenges in MW3
With the first task of completing all of the base Camo challenges complete, you’ll be able to move on to the mastery challenges. The first one up is the KVD Enforcer Gilded Camo, and for this you’ll need to get 10 Kills with a laser attachment equipped to the gun. Lasers are good for the fact that they add more stability to your weapons, something the KVD Enforcer sorely needs with its recoil, but the downside to it is that it means that your opponents will be able to easily spot you. With that in mind, this is another challenge that’s a good contender for Rust on Hardcore, you only need 10 kills and Rust is not a map where you need to rely on your stealth tactics to catch people unaware.
Once the Gilded Camo is yours, you’ll need to spend time grabbing the Gilded Camo for the other three Marksman Rifles in MW3. With that first step complete, you’ll be able to start working on the KVD Enforcer Forged Camo, and for this, you’ll need to bag yourself 25 One-Shot Kills, this means you have to take out your opponent with the first shot of the mag. As always with this kind of challenge, Hardcore is your best friend since you’ll down your targets with the first shot. Stick it on Rust, too, so that you can run into enemies much quicker, and this will be over in no time!
Following the Forged Camo, you’ll then need to work on grinding all 36 guns to their Forged Camo before you can work on the KVD Enforcer Priceless Camo, and for this, you’ll need to get 25 Extreme Magnification (8x+) kills. Unlike other challenges that mention a Magnification Scope but lets you use any scope, you will have to use a scope that features at least an 8x Zoom. There are only a few scopes out there that feature this level of zoom, so ensure you have one equipped, keep your distance, stick on an objective-based mode like Hardpoint or Control, and pick off enemies from range.
Now that you have the Priceless Camo, the only task that remains is to grind up to Priceless on all of the other guns and you will unlock the Interstellar Camo for the KVD Enforcer (and all other weapons)!
