Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Breacher Drone in MW3

By
Shane Williams

There are a variety of Lethal Equipment available in Modern Warfare 3 and some will make getting kills a lot easier, such as the Breacher Drone. This little device will explode when an enemy is within its proximity. Read below to learn how to get the Breacher Drone.

The Breacher Drone is one of the most popular Lethals in MW3.

How to Get The Breacher Drone in MW3

Unlocking the Breacher can’t be unlocked from Level 1 which is probably a good thing because it prevents everyone from running around with exploding drones and making multiplayer a horrible experience. However, if you do want to get your hands on the Breacher Drone, then you’ll need to play a fair bit of multiplayer while you’re completing Weapon Camo, Gameplay, and Daily Challenges until you reach Level 25. Upon reaching Level 25 you’ll want to head over to the Lethal Equipment Section and tag the Breacher Drone, then you’ll need to complete three daily challenges to unlock it.

If your daily challenges are too difficult, don’t worry as you’ll get different ones the next day, and winning matches will also count towards a challenge completion. With the Breacher Drone unlocked, we recommend that you use it alongside the Demolition Vest so you spawn with two and equip the Munitions Box so you can get more whilst you’re in battle. In order to bag a kill with this device, you’ll need to throw it towards your target and it’ll explode when the enemy is within its proximity or as soon as it makes contact.

The best time to use this sneaky little device is when you come across large groups of enemies which will typically happen in objective-based game modes, such as Control or Headquarters as you’ll get many more kills. Alternatively, you can use the Breacher Drone to get yourself out of difficult situations like needing to reload whilst in a gunfight, as you can throw it towards the enemy which will then distract them and give you time to find cover.
