Sea of Stars

Town of Lucent Walkthrough - Sea of Stars

By
Jarrod Garripoli

You’ve done your little task for the pirates in the Port Town of Brisk, having braved the Abandoned Wizard’s Lab. You will finally be able to board a boat to head to Wraith Island, which was your plan all along. This page will guide you through the Wraith Island Docks and Town of Lucent, including all of the treasures you can find in both of those locations.

Lucent is the town you will find on Wraith Island.

Wraith Island Docks Walkthrough

The Wraith Island Docks is a small area that you have to go through upon landing on Wraith Island.

Upon landing on Wraith Island, there will be a short scene with the pirates before they take off to Lucent. Meanwhile, you’re stuck at the docks and have to make the trek yourself. To the south of your starting position is a campfire and a save point, so make use of that before continuing to the right. On the northern side, near the start, will be some Onions. As you make your way east, you will run into your first enemies, a Woodland Spirit and a Lonzon. The latter attacks twice for their normal attack, and their special will heal them. The former enemy has a special that heals all enemies, so you should always go after them first.

Continue east to a wooden bridge, but just jump off of it. Underneath it, on the far right, will be a chest that contains a Rainbow Conch. Loot the Mushrooms after, then enter the cave right next to it, on the right to find more Mushrooms. There will be a chest inside here, but if you try to open it, the chest will disappear and you’ll be stuck fighting three Woodland Spirits. While it’s an annoying battle, just keep concentrating on the same enemy until you defeat them all. The chest will respawn after the battle, so loot it for the Calcite Lid, a new weapon for Garl.

(1 of 5) There is a chest with a Rainbow Conch underneath this wooden bridge.

Exit the cave and head back left to climb back up to the main path, where you can now cross the wooden bridge. Keep going east and you will run into another enemy encounter, this time being two Lonzons and a Woodland Spirit. Take them out, then continue onward, grabbing some Onions before finally reaching the exit to the world map. The only other place you can visit right now will be the Town of Lucent.

Town of Lucent Walkthrough

Thankfully, Lucent isn’t nearly as big as Brisk, but it’s still worth it to explore, although you won’t be able to get everything here right now.

The large building just north of the fountain is the inn, and entering it will trigger a lengthy cutscene, so avoid it for right now. As soon as you enter the town, head right and look on the side of the southeastern house for a bunch of Tomatoes. Head on over to the western side and look for a wall you can climb, which allows you access to the area just west of it.

(1 of 5) The chest inside the one house in Lucent will also disappear upon trying to open it.

You’ll find some Potatoes and Lettuce here, as well as an NPC in the northwestern corner, who asks for a Turbo Cookie. Unfortunately, that’s something you can’t get right now, so it will have to wait. Return to the main portion of the town and enter the building in the southwest. You will see a chest in the corner, but trying to open it will cause it to disappear. The nearby painting will talk and say he wants his brother to apologize, should you want the treasure. Exit the building and find the house just northwest of it, which you can enter from the right side.

The brother is the painting on the southern side of this building, so speak to him to learn that he took his Berry Jam. So, if you don’t have one on you, exit the town and make one at camp (you can also purchase it at the shop in town if needed). Once you have it, return to the first painting and hand over the Berry Jam, which will cause the chest to respawn, so open it for a Rainbow Conch. To the left of the inn is the item shop, so feel free to upgrade any equipment as you see fit. The Gold Tooth relic will make the items in shops cheaper if you wish to purchase and activate it, although it does cost a good 225G.

(1 of 3) You can’t do anything with this NPC until a little later.

There is one more thing here in Lucent you can get right now, which is another chest. Go to the bridge on the eastern side of town and climb onto the northern portion of it. From here, jump into the water and swim north, where you can get onto land in the northeastern corner. Slightly hidden here is a chest in the lower corner, which will contain another Rainbow Conch. With all of that out of the way, you can now go inside the inn for some scenes. Note that the pirates will be playing music here and if you approach them, you can see you can change the song being played.

After that scene with the pirates, speak to the innkeeper and choose to rest. There will be plenty more scenes here, then you will have your next destination, the Cursed Woods.
