You will visit many different locations in Sea of Stars, and as you explore these places, you will come across many treasure chests. It’s always a good idea to open the chests that you find, since you can obtain new equipment, or even key items that might be used later. This page will detail all of the treasure chests found in the Elder Mist Trials dungeon of the game.

Treasure Chest 1¶

The chest on the Left Path is underneath the overhang here.

All of the chests in the Elder Mist Trials are found on the side paths. Even if you miss them the first time, you can always re-enter the trials after the story portion. The first chest will be found on the Left Path. As soon as you enter the Left Path, you will go up some stairs. Immediately look to your right after going up the stairs to see the chest, so open it for some Basic Armor.

The chest on the Center Path is right before the rope near the end.

This chest will be found on the Center Path, the one in the middle when choosing the three options to go. The Center Path will have you answering some basic questions about the game, as you traverse through a set path. After the second question, you will need to cross a rope to get to the final one, but you will see a chest to your east, just before the rope. Drop down to loot the chest, which contains the Recipe: Mushroom Scramble.

The chest on the Right Path is right before dropping down to reach the long climbable wall.

You will find this chest as you progress through the Right Path in the little dungeon here. After hopping across some gaps, you will see a tall wall you can climb. Right before that, there is a little gap you can cross to the north, where you’ll find this chest waiting for you; it contains a Shiny Pearl.

The Left Path has a block to move with the Mistral Bracelet, which is hiding the conch.

You won’t be able to get the last chest in the Elder Mist Trials until you’ve acquired the Mistral Bracelet, which is gotten from the Wind Tunnel Mines. Once you have that item, return to the Elder Mist Trials and go to the Left Path. At the beginning of the Left Path, if you look close enough, you should see a stone block on your left. Use the Mistral Bracelet to blow it out of the way, revealing a chest with a Rainbow Conch behind it.
