Sea of Stars

All Wraith Island Rainbow Conch Locations in Sea of Stars

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Rainbow Conches are one of the collectibles featured in Sea of Stars, which are spread out across the game’s world. You will mostly find them hidden in the various locations, but you will sometimes get them from doing some side quests. This page will detail the locations of every single Rainbow Conch on Wraith Island, which includes many areas, like Wraith Island Docks, the Town of Lucent, Cursed Woods, Flooded Graveyard, Necromancer’s Lair, and Haunted Mansion.

All Wraith Island Docks Rainbow Conch Locations

There is a chest with a Rainbow Conch underneath this wooden bridge.

There is only a single Rainbow Conch found in the Wraith Island Docks area. This place is pretty small, so it’s not going to be hard to miss things here. Note that the areas on Wraith Island are rather dark, so you might want to turn up the brightness levels via the options to see things a little more clearly. As you make your way through the docks area, you will cross a wooden bridge. Hop off of the bridge and look underneath the right side to spot the familiar chest with the Rainbow Conch.

All Lucent Rainbow Conch Locations

There are two Rainbow Conches found in the Town of Lucent, with both accessible on your first visit there.

Rainbow Conch 1

(1 of 5) The chest inside the one house in Lucent will also disappear upon trying to open it.

When you first enter the town, go inside the first house on the left to spot a chest. Upon trying to open it, the chest will disappear and the painting will tell you that the treasure won’t be yours until you get his brother to make amends. Exit the house and look northwest to find another one, although it doesn’t appear to have an entrance. You can enter this house via the right side, so do that and look for the painting in the lower left corner.

This painting will mention that his brother was mad because he ate his snack. He does say that the snack was some Berry Jam, so if you don’t have one in your inventory, go to any campfire and make it. Once you have the food item in your inventory, head back to the first brother and speak to him. This will prompt a window to pop up, where you can hand over the Berry Jam. Upon doing so, the chest will reappear and you can get the Rainbow Conch.

Rainbow Conch 2

(1 of 2) For the second chest on your first visit, jump off the bridge and into the water.

For the second chest on your first visit, jump off the bridge and into the water. (left), Swim to the northeastern corner to get another Rainbow Conch. (right)

For the second Conch, you will want to head towards the eastern exit of the town. There will be a locked building here, but ignore that and go onto the bridge right next to it. Climb into the northern side of the bridge, then jump into the water. Stick to the right side as you head north, where you can climb back onto land there in the corner. You’ll find the chest with the Rainbow Conch in the lower right portion of this corner.

All Cursed Woods Rainbow Conch Locations

(1 of 2) There is a hidden area right here, after crossing the three log bridges.

There is a hidden area right here, after crossing the three log bridges. (left), It will lead to a Rainbow Conch, guarded by two Arentrees. (right)

You will find only a single Rainbow Conch in the Cursed Woods area. Progress through it as normal, until you eventually reach a set of three wooden bridges you must cross. This will be right before the final set of brambles blocking your way, which requires defeating two Boulbe enemies. Immediately after crossing those wooden log bridges, look in the southwest corner to spot another one. This will lead to a hidden area that has two Arentree enemies guarding a chest. Defeat them both to get to the chest, which contains the Rainbow Conch.

All Flooded Graveyard Rainbow Conch Locations

In the corner right here, by the entrance to Necromancer’s Lair, will be a chest with a Rainbow Conch.

There is only a single Rainbow Conch located in the Flooded Graveyard, and it comes rather late into the area. So, just progress normally through the Flooded Graveyard, until you get to the northern section with the raft. This is when you can get around the watery portion by using your Mistral Bracelet to push the raft around there. Of course, you won’t need the raft to get to this chest. In fact, this is just right of the entrance to the Necromancer’s Lair. Jump into the water and swim between the island with that entrance, and the one to the right of it. In the left corner will be the chest with the Rainbow Conch.

All Necromancer’s Lair Rainbow Conch Locations

(1 of 2) Use the Graplou to get to this enemy across the gap.

Use the Graplou to get to this enemy across the gap. (left), Check the corner after vanquishing the enemies for a Rainbow Conch. (right)

Progress through the Necromancer’s Lair dungeon, until you reach the main area and have to go after three Revenant enemies. This will bring you to the area to the northeast, where you eventually get the Graplou item, an important item that allows you to grapple with objects and enemies. At the part where you dropped the ladder, climb back up it and look to the northeast to spot another section. You will have to wait until the Mermofwizqard enemy is in the right spot, so you can grapple it to get over to that area. Once you defeat the enemies, the chest with the Rainbow Conch will be in the corner.

All Haunted Mansion Rainbow Conch Locations

Again, there’s only a single Conch located in the Haunted Mansion. To start, make your way through the dungeon, until you reach the room where you need to make the Master Ghost Sandwich Recipe. You will actually see the chest in this room, but you won’t be able to reach it just yet. Do that, then continue through the dungeon some more until you pass a ghostly child sitting on a chair (this is the one you can’t interact with, as they disappear upon getting close).

Just past that weird ghost child will be in the garden area outside. Head to the left side, before entering the actual garden, and spot the unlit torch there. Interact with it to find a hidden button, which when pressed, will light it. This will also cause a small secret door to open right next to it. Squeeze through this small opening to appear right next to the chest from earlier, so open it for the Rainbow Conch.

All Half-Sunken Tower Rainbow Conch Locations

(1 of 2) You can jump into the water in this southeastern corner.

You can jump into the water in this southeastern corner. (left), This secret path will lead to a chest with a Rainbow Conch. (right)

The final Conch on Wraith Island will have to wait until near the end of the game. Once you have access to the final story dungeon, you will be able to start the Romaya’s Secret Passage side quest. This will allow you to access the Half-Sunken Tower area after showing the Yellow Flame key item to the Ferryman. Once you’ve gotten to that location, get to the raft and use it to navigate to the land area in the south. When you’re there, you will find a spot in the southeast corner where you can jump into the water. Do that and swim west, where you’ll find the chest with the Rainbow Conch.
