Sea of Stars

All Fishing Spots and Fish Locations in Sea of Stars

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Fishing can be a nice distraction from the main quest in Sea of Stars, although it doesn’t offer a huge benefit to progression. One of the main reasons why you will want to go fishing in the game is to procure some ingredients for cooking. In addition to that, there is one trophy/achievement (Master Angler) tied to fishing, which is to catch each species at least once. That brings us to this page, which will list all of the fishing spots in the game, as well as which fish you can catch at each of those locations.

Fishing is one of the minigames you will encounter in the game.

All Fishing Spots in Sea of Stars

There’s a total of 11 fishing spots in the game, not including the one found in a post-game location (this one doesn’t really matter). With that one exception, as well as one more, every other spot is accessible from the world map. You can tell it’s a fishing spot, as the location will be a small pond that has a fishing jumping out of it periodically. Every fishing spot will have a sign right next to the body of water, which shows you the fish you can catch there. If you haven’t caught the fish yet, then you’ll see a silhouette, then that will be filled in once you catch it.

Fishing Spot Location Fish
Sunglow Lake Evermist Island Lunar Trout, Man o’War
Windy Loch Sleeper Island (By Moorlands) Grass Haddock, Hardshell, Lunar Trout
Lavish Lake Sleeper Island (by Brisk) Hardshell, Man o’War, Grass Haddock
Haunted Creek Inside Abandoned Wizard’s Lab (Red + Blue) Lunar Trout
Haunted Creek Wraith Island Spectral Eel, Ghosturgeon, Bone Pike
Watcher’s Pond Watcher’s Island Fluorescent Piranha, Crimson Bass, Sun Carp, Viridian Lobster
Settler’s Rest Settler’s Island (Mirth’s island) Crimson Bass, Hardshell, Seakjaw, Grass Haddock
Lake Turquoise Mesa Island Clockwork Crab, Fluorescent Piranha, Swordfish, Ninja Starfish
Sulfuric Basin Island with Kiln Mountain Rock Shrimp, Lava Koi
Skybound Lagoon Skylands Sky Urchin, Cloud Skate, Ninja Starfish
Cerulean Reservoir Cerulean Island Laser Burbot, Coil Flounder, Cybernardl Hermite, Silicum Sponge

(1 of 4) Most fishing spots will be found on the world map.

Note that there are two locations called Haunted Creek. The one found inside the Abandoned Wizard’s Lab will require the Blue and Red Crystals to access. There’s no new fish to be found here, although there is a small little quest for extra loot. The other Haunted Creek is found on Wraith Island and is an actual fishing spot, with new fish to get. You will also unlock a fishing spot in Mirth, which requires you to get a certain amount of Rainbow Conches, then you will need to find the Master Fisherman. Visit the All Mirth Villagers Locations page for more info on that. This spot just has stock of every fish you have caught throughout the game, and doesn’t carry anything new.
