You will come across many locations in Sea of Stars, some of which are completely optional. However, it is those optional places that can help you score free loot that can make your characters more powerful. One of these places is the Sunken Docarri Ruins, of which, there’s a total of four of them. This page will focus on the Eastern Sunken Docarri Ruins, telling you where it is and how to solve the puzzle within it.
Where to Find the Eastern Sunken Docarri Ruins¶

Once you have gotten access to the final story dungeon, you will gain the ability to fly, allowing you to venture throughout the world and start some optional content. One of these will be the Docarri Ruins, so check out the How to Find the Sunken Docarri Ruins page for more info on that. This particular set of ruins will be found on the eastern side of the world map, just west of Hiker’s Rest. The whirlpool that leads to the ruins will be just north of the initial light pedestal.
How to Solve the Eastern Sunken Docarri Ruins Puzzle¶
Of the three Docarri Ruins puzzles, this one is probably the easiest to solve, as it revolves around simple light beams and mirrors. As with the other ones, ring the bell with the Cobalt Hammer to open the door, then take the whirlpool to the actual puzzle portion. Climb onto dry land on the left, then hop across the platforms, to the right side. There, you will find a button on the ground that will make a pillar rise out of the ground, which will emit a laser. The laser will shoot to the left side, so head back over there and use the Mistral Bracelet to turn the mirror around, so it’s facing north.
Second Puzzle¶
This will reflect the laser onto the final pillar and open the way up to the second tier. Here, the laser will already be going and you’ll need to do this little puzzle in two steps. First, turn the mirror on the left side until it’s facing east, which will make it hit the pillar to the northwest of it. This will make a platform come out of the way, allowing you to cross over to the right. Do that and change the orientation of the mirror here, making it face south.

Head back to the left side and change the mirror’s position to allow the laser to hit the mirror on the right, deflecting it to hit the pillar to the south. This will cause a grapple point to appear, so use that to get back to the right side (the platform despawned), where you want to change the position of the mirror once more. This time, it will be pointing to the east, reflecting the laser to hit the northern pillar. A laser will appear on the third tier, and you will be able to climb the nearby wall to get up to it.
Third Puzzle¶
Upon reaching the third tier, hop across to the left to find a bunch of mirrors there. This puzzle is very easy, as you simply need to reposition the mirrors here. The northernmost mirror faces straight south, the one on the west side faces straight east, the one on the east side faces to the west, and the southern one will face north. Putting all of the mirrors in the above positions will make the laser hit the pillar.

You will now be able to reach the top of the ruins, where you simply go across to the other side. Hit the button there to make the pedestal with the Docarri Seal Fragment B move away from the waterfall, allowing you to grab it and finish the ruins.
