How To Unlock¶

Capture at least one of every fiend on the Mushroom Rock Road:

• Funguar
• Gandarewa
• Garuda
• Lamashtu
• Raptor
• Red Element
• Thunder Flan

Strategy¶

As a Coeurl, you should be familiar somewhat with this boss, as there will be a lot of ailments coming from Coeurlregina. Chaos inflicts Confusion, Doom and Curse on the entire party, which can be bad. You should definitely have Confuseproof on your armor if you’re facing this boss. The more annoying ability, though, is Hyper Blaster, as it inflicts Death and bypasses Deathproof. Since it only targets a single character, that’s nothing that Auto-Phoenix doesn’t take care of, so it’s not a problem. When Coeurlregina goes below half health, it will add Drain into the mix.

If you decide to use an Aeon in this battle, Coeurlregina will use Drain and Hyper Blaster, but also add two new moves, Flare and Thundaga. Since you can’t do anything about Hyper Blaster (the Aeons will be immune to the Death proc), it’s best not to worry about it. For this fight, the best idea is to go full on offense, only worrying about Chaos’ ailments. Come into the battle with Overdrives ready and that should help make a big dent into the Coeurlregina’s smaller HP pool.
