God of War: Ragnarok

Nine Realms in Bloom

By
Scott Peers

The Nine Realms in Bloom favor is one of the longest running favors in God of War Ragnarok, partly because some of the last flowers can only be accessed after completing the main story, when additional realms such as Jotunheim are unlocked. We’ll show you where to find all of the flower locations in each realm. You will unlock The Florist trophy after finding all of the flowers listed here.

Where to Find All Flower Locations for the Nine Realms in Bloom Favor in God of War Ragnarok

As the name of the favor suggests, there are a total of nine flowers to be found for this favor, with one in Svartalfheim, one in Alfheim, one in Vanaheim, one in Midgard, one in Helheim, one in Muspelheim, two in Niflheim, and one in Jotunheim.

Flower Realm
Sparkthorn Svartalfheim
Dawnbloom Alfheim
Starblush Vanaheim
Murkweed Midgard
Soulblossom Helheim
Ashpetal Muspelheim
Frostfinger Niflheim
Dreamshade Niflheim
Ironbell Jotunheim

Where to Find the Sparkthorn Flower in Svartalfheim

The Sparkthorn Flower can be found in the Dwarven city of Nidavellir, but although this is one of the first places that you encounter in God of War Ragnarok, you won’t be able to reach the area where the flower is until you acquire the Draupnir Spear, during the Forging Destiny main quest. Once you have this, you can throw the spear into a point in the chimney, shown in the screenshot below. You can then swing across to find the flower immediately to your right.

You can see this process in action in the video below.

Where to Find the Dawnbloom Flower in Alfheim

The Dawnbloom Flower can be found in the westernmost point of Alfheim, in the southwest of The Forbidden Sands region. You’ll need to complete most of The Barrens region in Alfheim, which is directly east of The Forbidden Sands, before you can enter the area. You should also complete the Secret of the Sands and the Song of the Sands favors first, which will ensure that the sandstorm is dispersed, allowing you to see the area more clearly (and unlocking some previously buried aspects of it).

Where to Find the Starblush Flower in Vanaheim

The Starblush Flower can be found in The Sinkholes, a subregion of The Crater, which itself is a subregion of Vanaheim (in the northern part). You’ll find this one just west of the Berserker Gravestone here. Head south from the Mystic Gateway and turn right, then follow the path down the steps until you reach the flower.

Where to Find the Murkweed Flower in Midgard

The Murkweed Flower can only be accessed after speaking with Ratatoskr in the Realm Between Realms after completing the main story. You need to hit the chimes where you’ve spoken to him previously to summon him, then start a conversation to get the seeds. You will then have access to the Sanctuary Grove Mystic Gateway in the southern part of Midgard. This is the same place where Freya made her home when you first met her in the previous game.

You gain access to the Sanctuary Grove Mystic Gateway after completing the main story, where you’ll find the Murkweed Flower.

Where to Find the Soulblossom Flower in Helheim

The Soulblossom Flower in Helheim can be a bit tricky to find if you don’t know where to look. It’s located near Hel’s Perch in Helgrind, but you need to use the Draupnir Spear to create a handhold in the wall, which you can then use to swing over to the area where the flower can be found. The entire process for this, including the area on the map where you need to be in Helheim, is shown in the video below. Note that you can only get this flower as you go through Helheim playing as Kratos.

Where to Find the Ashpetal Flower in Muspelheim

The Ashpetal Flower in Muspelheim is easy to find as soon as you reach The Crucible area of Muspelheim. This is the same area where you will find the Muspelheim Trials and Challenges. When you arrive in The Crucible, jump down from the Mystic Gateway and look to your right to find the flower near the blacksmith shop.

Where to Find the Frostfinger Flower in Niflheim

There are two main regions that you have access to in Niflheim, one of which is The Raven Tree that you have access to early on in the game. The other is the Mist Fields, which you only have access to after completing the main story. Here you will find the Frostfinger Flower in the southeastern part of the region, as shown in the screenshots below.

Where to Find the Dreamshade Flower in Niflheim

The Dreamshade Flower can be found in The Raven Tree region of Niflheim, but in a part of it which only becomes accessible after completing the main story. The flower is near the bottom of The Broken Prison, also known as the Aesir Prison Wreckage, which can be accessed by jumping over a broken bridge to the left The Raven Tree. You can see our guide to this whole region on our The Broken Prison favor page, which details how to get all the collectibles there, including the Dreamshade Flower.

The Dreamshade Flower can be found at the bottom of The Broken Prison.

Where to Find the Ironbell Flower in Jotunheim

The Ironbell Flower can only be accessed after completing the main story, at which point you’ll be given more realm seeds when you visit Ratatoskr in the Realm Between Realms (Sindri’s House). As mentioned above for the Frostfinger Flower, you need to throw your Leviathan Axe at the chimes where Rataroskr usually shows up to summon him. After the conversation you’ll have access to a Mystic Gateway in Jotunheim. You only have access to a small region here so it’s impossible to miss the Ironbell Flower, but the location is shown in the screenshot below if you need it.
