How to Find The Canyons¶
During the fourth main quest, Groa’s Secret, you’ll travel to Alfheim, where you’ll end up exploring the The Strond and the Temple of Light. Afterwards you’ll return to the Mystic Gate from whence you came, but before you go through a new region will be revealed, and you’ll be given the opportunity to explore.
Go through the circular gate to the northeast and you’ll reach The Canyons, a fairly linear area with no enemies and three collectibles.

Where to Find all Lore in The Canyons¶
The Canyon is capped by Lore, with one such collectible being near the beginning of the region, and another at the end.
Go through the circular gate connecting The Strond to the The Canyon and you’ll find a scroll on the ground near some dead Dark Elves. Pick it up to score the Treasure Map: Vulture’s Gold, which also counts as a Lore collectible.
Follow the linear path through the canyon until your way is blocked by some hive growth. If you played God of War 2018, you’ll remember this stuff - and how to clear it. Note three glowing tendrils; you have to line them up and sever all three with one throw of the Leviathan Axe. Fortunately, this hive growth is merely a refresher, and shouldn’t pose any real difficulty.
Once the hive growth is gone you’ll be able to climb the wall to the northeast. Do so, then continue northeast to find a Lore Marker. Investigate it and you’ll get the U-natur-liker lore entry.
East of the last Lore collectible you’ll find an elevated camp that houses Sindri’s shop and a Mystic Gateway. If this is your first visit you can talk to Sindri to pick up the Favor [Secret of the Sands].
South of Sindri’s shop you’ll find one of Odin’s Ravens flying around in a figure-eight pattern.
Where to Find all Odin’s Ravens in The Canyons¶
From Sindri’s shop turn south and look up a bit and you should see one of Odin’s Ravens flying around. This one isn’t hard to spot, but it does fly in a constant figure-eight pattern, which may make it somewhat tricky to hit. We suggest heading to the stakes that block your passage to the southeast, then look up to the east and wait for the raven to complete its turn. The timing is still tight, but Odin’s Raven will fly at you for a bit, giving you a chance to knock it out of the sky.
