Objective: Find a safe path back to the Remnant village¶

When we regain control of Lara, we’ll have just acquired a new piece of gear – the Wire Spool . This will allow you to use the Grapple Axe ability – allowing Lara to use her pickaxes as makeshift grappling hooks in to swing across gaps. It will also allow you to throw your pickaxes at ledges mid-jump, allowing you to grab ledges that would otherwise be out of reach.

Use the rope pillar and the attachment point opposite to create a zip line with your Rope Arrow. Cross the chasm. Drop down to the ledge below on the far side to find an Explorer’s Satchel . Climb back up and use the grapple axe ability to swing from the cross beam to the ledge on the far side.

Use the Grapple Axe to reach the ledge above (left). You’ll find Document 09 in the shrubs nearby (right).

Run and jump towards the high up ledge across the next gap and use the wire spool to grab the ledge and pull yourself up. At the top, there is a Document [09/10 - Greek] in amongst the bushes just to the right. Use the grapple axes again on the beam at the end of this ledge to reach the climbable wall behind it. Climb to the right and use the handholds to shimmy to the right.

Use your grapple axes on the final climbing wall and scale it to the top. Head through the cave to exit the area.
