My Time at Sandrock

How to Get More Water

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to get more water for your water tank in My Time at Sandrock.

How to Get More Water Barrels

Water is a bit of a precious resource in Sandrock - their whole motto is Conserve Water! Therefore, you don’t have access to an unlimited supply of water. In your yard, you’ll find a water tank that you can fill with water by obtaining barrels of water.

Use water barrels in your inventory to fill your tank - you can also remove water from the tank.

The more machinery you have, the higher the water consumption at your workshop. You may find that you run out of water from time to time! Sometimes, you’ll get water barrels as rewards for completing side quests and tasks, but more often than not, if you run out you’ll need to obtain more water barrels by purchasing them at Water World.

You can buy five barrels at a time, and the price varies depending on how much water has been used recently. The more water you purchase, the higher the price of water in the future!

How to Make Water Barrels

If you don’t want to waste too much of the town’s water supply, you could use Dew to make your own water barrels!

You can collect Dew by chopping at bushes or collecting plants in the area around your workshop. You’ll need 10 Dew to make one barrel of water at the worktable. One barrel of water is not a whole lot and won’t last long if you have a few machines operating, so you’ll either need to harvest a bunch of Dew, or later in the game you can build a Dew Collector.

How to Make a Dew Collector

Another way to get water is to make a Dew Collector. You’ll first need to purchase the blueprint from Qi for 8 Discs. But once you’ve built and placed the Dew Collector, you’ll begin slowly and passively collecting Dew!

Head over to our guide to learn How to Make a Dew Collector.

The Dew Collector will passively collect dew for you!
