Owen is a character that you will run into in the early hours of the game and is extremely helpful. He has likes that are easy to get as soon as you start playing the game and can become one of your first friends. In addition, his status at the Blue Moon Saloon makes it easy to visit him daily. The guide below goes over where to find Owen, what his loves and likes are, and some tips for giving him gifts in My Time at Sandrock.
Owen can be found at the Blue Moon Saloon in Sandrock.
Where to Find Owen¶
Owen is the owner of the Blue Moon Saloonand can almost always be found there. If you want to buy cooking recipes, then you will need to visit him often. Owen is another character you can work with in the early part of the game and even has a quest that is guaranteed to pop up after the first sandstorm. He has two other NPCs in his social network: Justice, the lead of the Civil Corps, and
Grace, who also works at the Blue Moon Saloon. By getting close to these characters, you can also get bonus points for Owen.
How to Romance Owen¶
To romance Owen, you first must reach 400 friendship points. When this goal is met, you can buy a Heart Knot from the General Store for 128 Gols to confess to him. If he accepts, he will become your boyfriend. You can build his friendship points by speaking with him each day, giving him gifts, and completing quests. For bonus points, you can also spar with him, and play Critters. Once he becomes your boyfriend, the option to go on dates will unlock, making it easier to gain points.
Once you finally reach 900 points with Own, you can buy an Engagement Ring from the Mysterious Man. This can only be done when he’s in town on the 20th and 21st of every month. Keep in mind that giving Owen his loved gifts will increase his affection for you quicker, as his top gift is worth 20 friendship points.
