Treasure Chests are wooden chests that can be found hidden around Sandrock. Use this page for a quick breakdown of all treasure chest locations, including links to each sub-region below. You can also use our interactive map for exact locations.

List of All Hidden Treasure Chests¶
Below, you’ll find a list of all treasure chests, the rewards they contain, and their locations. You’ll also find information on how to reach some of the trickier to reach treasure chests. Keep in mind that many treasure chests are covered in sand. For these, you will need to use a Feather Duster to extract them. In addition to this, there are a few floating chests around the map. These will require you to use a gun to get them down. There is a skill called Gathering associated with finding treasure chests. At tier one, it will show a marker for nearby chests on the map. At tier two, you will get a random number of Gols when you open a chest.
Sandrock Town Treasure Chests¶

- Location: Commerce Guild - Found inside, on the upper floor of the guild building (map location).

Pablo’s Parlor - Found on the metal scaffolding above Pablo’s Parlor. To get there, you’ll need to follow the stairs up behind the parlor and then hop up onto the roof, where you can then drop down onto the metal scaffolding (map location).

- Location: Rock Cliff overlooking City Hall - Found atop the huge cliff that overlooks City Hall and the Church of the Light. You can scale the slope to the edge of the cliff by heading from the Church and finding ledges going upwards. Climbing in the game is pretty easy, and you don’t need definitive ledges or footholds to climb up, it seems (map location).

Paradise Lost Treasure Chests¶
- Reward: Armor Display Piece 1. This can be used to make the Armor Display museum exhibition.
- Location: Grand Mesa - Found atop the rocky plateau east of the fishing spot near Eufaula Salvage. It’s half buried so you’ll need a Feather Duster to uncover the chest (map location).

Gecko Station Ruins Treasure Chests¶
- Reward: Yakboy Large Picture Frame. You can use this painting to decorate your house.
- Location: Blue Shack outside Gecko Station - Found on the roof of the blue shack opposite the Gecko Station entrance. To get on the roof, use the wooden cart to jump onto the fabric awning, which you can then use to hop onto the roof (map location).

Mt. Rocksand Treasure Chests¶

- Location: Near Submarine - Found in the desert plains in front of the ruined submarine. It’s half buried, so you’ll need a Feather Duster to uncover the chest (map location).

- Location: Southwest of Mt. Rocksand - Found half-buried behind a Punished Tripion! You can try to get the treasure quickly before the Tripion does too much damage if you’d prefer not to fight. The Badlands¶

- Location: - There is a small break in the ground beside the Mole Mines entrance with a Tripion in it. The treasure chest is near the wood supplies buried in the sand. Use a Feather Duster to unearth it.

- Location: - Above the main valley in a railroad shack. You will need to climb some broken stairs to reach it. The chest will be hidden under some crates inside of the shack.

Valley of Whisper Perimeter Treasure Chests¶

- Location: - As you enter into the Valley of Whispers, there is a metal tower to your left. You will find a treasure chest on the left side of the tower buried in sand. Use your Feather Duster to free it.

- Location: - This is located in the middle of the dark spot in the center of the Valley of Whispers by a cliff. It will be in between a couple of mushrooms.

- Location: - This chest is located in the center of the Valley of Whisper inside of a roofless building. If you have built Catori World, then it will be sitting in the middle of some crates out in the open.

- Location: - This is a tricky chest as it’s located on a suspended piece of metal in the center of the Valley of Whispers. This doesn’t change after you build Catori World either, and in some ways is more difficult to access. Use the cliff across from it to make your way over, or jump up the side of the cliff if the game allows you to do so.
