Heidi is the town architect and a helpful woman who helps the town rebuild during the game’s main story. She runs the construction shop in town and has a large social network that can help you to win her over. The guide below goes over where to find Heidi, how to romance her, and what her liked and loved gifts are in My Time at Sandrock.
Where to Find Heidi¶
Heidi will either be at her parents’ house behind the Tailor Made store or running her shop, Construction Junction, directly beside City Hall. This is the shop you will visit when upgrading your house and yard, so you will often run into Heidi. Heidi starts her day at her family home and ends it there once Construction Junction closes up for the day. This makes her rather easy to find as there’s only a short bit of distance between the two that she travels each day. She has one of the largest social networks in the game. It consists of Vivi and Hugo, her family members who live with her, Amirah, Pablo, Jasmine, and Judy. Amirah is around for the start of the game, as is Jasmine, but Pablo and Judy will appear later in the story. Becoming close with these characters will also help to increase your Friendship Points with Heidi.
How to Romance Heidi¶
Heidi is a character that is fairly easy to gain points with. She constantly posts commissions and is involved in the main story quests, making it easy to gain points with her in your first year. You can also speak with her daily, give her gifts, play Critters, interact with her, go on Play Dates, and complete her quests when they appear. Once she reaches 400 points, you can pick up a Heart Knot for 128 Gols from the General Store. Once she accepts the item, she will become your girlfriend, and the option to go on dates for even more points will unlock.
You will want to focus on becoming friends with her network as well, as it’s large and can help speed up your relationship. Once you are dating Heidi and get her heart meter to 900 points, you can propose to her. To do this, buy an Engagement Ring from the Mysterious Man on the 20th or 21st of each month. This item does have a hefty price tag of 2,000 Gols. For more help on building Friendship Points and marriage, check out our in-depth guide here.
