How to Upgrade Your Workshop Space in My Time at Sandrock¶

Your workshop space can be updated by interacting with the sign next to your fence. At first, this sign will be located behind your workshop, but after you have expanded it a few times, it will move to the right side of your workshop. The sign is large, so you won’t be able to miss it. With each upgrade, the stats buff that your character can gain from placed furniture will increase. To check your current buffs, interact with the sign inside of your house. It’s first placed to the right of your front door as you come in.

You should note that it’s impossible to complete the game without upgrading a few times, as you won’t have enough room in your yard for your machines and upgraded Assembly Station. Additionally, you will need to reach workshop level five to get married. The table below goes over the cost of upgrading your workshop and how much room you will have. You can upgrade your workshop a total of ten times.

In total, you will need 759,000 Gols to upgrade your workshop to max size. If you are looking to make other improvements to the space, like expanding your house or adding additional buildings like a barn, then go to Construction Junction. You will manually be able to choose the size of your house and buy accents like lights to spruce it up.
