My Time at Sandrock

How to Fast Travel

The map of Sandrock in the surrounding area is rather large. Due to this, you won’t easily be able to access all the locations without sacrificing your day. To overcome this, the game introduces building Yakmel Stations early on to help you get around the map faster. This page offers a guide on how to fast travel in My Time at Sandrock.

How to Use the Yakmel Stations

Dotted around the map are numerous Yakmel Stations that can be unlocked. The first four are located around town and already set up, with the closest to your workshop sitting behind the train station. When you run up to one and interact with it, it’ll open up the map, and you can choose to select another Yakmel Station. You’ll then be prompted to accept the ride, which will cost a certain amount of Gols, depending on your destination.

Yakmel Stations. There’s also a station at Moisture Farm (north).

Once you begin to unlock new areas of the map, you will need to build Yakmel Stations and then place them in the spot indicated on your map. The table below contains the recipe for building a Yakmel Station.

Yakmel Station Materials Where to Get
x4 Bronze Stick Using "Bronze Bars" iconBronze Bars in the "Processor" iconProcessor
x2 Hardwood Plank Using Hardwood in the "Processor" iconProcessor or from "Fine Wood Scrap" iconFine Wood Scrap
x4 Rough Cloth Using Fiber and Yakmel Fur in the "Tailoring Machine" iconTailoring Machine. This can also be purchased in town at "Tailor Made" iconTailor Made.

All Yakmel Stations

There are a total of 14 Yakmel Stations, ten of which you must build. The general rule of thumb is that for each new area you explore, a new spot for a Yakmel Station will unlock. Many of these will also be set up right next to ruins to give you ease of entry. The following list is every area where a Yakmel Station can be found.
