How to Start the Sorcerer’s Appraisal Quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2

The first thing you need to know about this quest is that the NPC, "Myrddin" iconMyrddin, is not welcoming to the random peasants. Go to his house, and he will tell you to go away. A citizen should tell you he doesn’t like common folk coming to his house. This should allow you to then dress up in the Courtly Attire, the same apparel you wear for the Masquerade quests in "Vernworth" iconVernworth.

Go to his house in "Checkpoint Rest Town" iconCheckpoint Rest Town all dressed up and he should invite you in. When inside, he shall teach you the ways of the Sorcerer, and give you the quest, The Sorcerer’s Appraisal.

The Sorcerer’s Appraisal Grimoire Locations

The first thing you need to do now you have the quest is to track down five Grimoires. These are as follows:

"Nation's Death Knell" iconNation’s Death Knell Looted from either the Waterfall Cave in the northeast edge of Vermund, along the eastern road of Borderwatch outpost.
