Dragon's Dogma 2

Wyrmslife Crystal Locations In Dragon's Dogma 2

By
Echo Apsey

"Wyrmslife Crystal" iconWyrmslife Crystals are one of the rarest items in Dragon’s Dogma 2, only found in hidden areas and tucked away in some buildings. However, by exploring and facing some of the biggest threats in Vermund and Battahl, you can get a good quantity of crystals that can be used to trade for items, upgrade gear, and even imbue your weapons with Wyrmfire.

So, you definitely want to seek these out while exploring and working your way through the main story.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Wyrmslife Crystal Locations

Wyrmslife Crystals in "Dragon" iconDragon’s Dogma 2 can be found by:

The easiest way to get Wyrmslife Crystals fast is by finding Dragons around the map and slaying them. There are a good few scattered around Vermund and Battahl that can be seen on our interactive world map where they are all pinned. However, some core locations are in "Melve" iconMelve during an early story quest, outside Harve Village, and at the "Ancient Battleground" iconAncient Battleground, west of the Misty Marshes.

You can also take on the Dragonsbreath Tower dragon in the far southwest after unlocking the Mystic Spearhand vocation. This dragon is arguably the easiest to kill as you will have help from other NPCs and "Sigurd" iconSigurd himself. So, if you want to head here to grab some early Wyrmslife Crystals, that isn’t a bad idea, as you can get around half a dozen Wyrmslife Crystals depending on how often you hit the weak spots on the dragon itself.

The trek up to Dragonsbreath Tower, however, is packed with dangers, tough enemies, and large packs of harpies and goblins, so you will want upgraded gear and high-level pawns to help you on the way up.

You also don’t have to kill dragons. Hitting their weak spot (their heart) enough will cause a crystal to drop. You will know if you are hitting it as you will hear a clinking sound as if it is almost shattering.

Additionally, you can find Wyrmslife Crystals in some locations around the map. One can be found in the Old Lighthouse, at the very top, in Harve Village. Another can be found in the Bay Wayside Shrine by the Dragonsborne vendor.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the long-awaited sequel to a predecessor that gained a cult following for its quirky pawns and charming jank, not to mention the diverse combat options that came with access to several unique vocations. All of that and more is expanded upon with DD2, while some of the mechanics have been simplified to make them more accessible, but still retaining that unapologetic focus on rewarding exploration at the heart of its gameplay. You are the Arisen, fated to confront the Dragon’s Dogma, and the initial path you take is a familiar one to those who played the original, but you’ll soon find that there’s more to this story than meets the eye. In this guide, we cover the following:
