The bottom butt of the food chain

Aptonoth are herbivores that are often used by humans as beasts of burden. They also sit at the very bottom of the food chain and every large monster has probably eaten one at some point. The poor guys, they can never catch a break! Aptonoth if provoked will sometimes give you a little headbutt, but they will more likely try to flee instead while squealing with fright the whole time. Are you sure you can kill them with clear conscience?
