Smithy
Every village has a local Smithy who you can visit to forge and upgrade your gear. Here are the options you can pick from:
| Option | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Forge Weapons | Make weapons here. Sometimes has advantages over upgrading |
| Forge Armor | Your hunter has 5 armor pieces (head, chest, waist, arms, legs). Blademasters and Gunners have their own armor. |
| Upgrade Equipment | Upgrade your weapons and armor here! |
| Decorations | Make and equip Decorations. You can also equip Decorations at your house |
Palico Armory
Next to the smithy is the Palico Armory, run by a helpful Felyne. This lets you make gear for your Palicos and also obtain Scraps , the thing Palicos need for their stuff.

| Forge Weapons | Palicos have both Cutting and Impact weapons that look incredibly adorable. |
| Forge Head Armor | Palicos have 2 armor pieces instead of 5 |
| Forge Body Armor | Make body armor pieces here |
| Trade for Scraps | You can get scraps by trading in monster parts (or by doing Meownster Hunter and when forging your own armor) |
