Daimyo Hermitaur is a peaceful Carapaceon that will only attack when provoked. It is a rather inquisitive, quiet creature otherwise, you might feel somewhat guilty hitting it. Daimyo Hermitaur likes to wear a Diablos shell on its back. Whatever skeleton it pulled the skull off of must have been enormous. Note that most weapons will bounce off the shell. You can damage Daimyo Hermitaur by hitting its shell, funnily enough, and blood will get spit out at you.
Daimyo will dig its claws into the ground and then push dirt in your face, clawing at you in the process.
Claw Swipe
Daimyo will scuttle around you and then swipe at you with one pitiful small swipe with one of its claws. Knocks you on your butt.
180 Claw Swipe
Daimyo will swing a claw around in a 180 degree arc. Sends you flying so be careful!
Big Hug
Daimyo will extend its claws outwards, then lunge forward to try and hug you. Don’t fall for it!
Water Gun
Daimyo will spit water out at you. Sometimes Daimyo will scuttle sideways at the same time to give this attack more range.
Burrow
Daimyo will burrow into the ground and then periodically burst from below intending on goring you with its shell. It will do so five times before finally resurfacing. Sometimes its burst locations are completely random, and other times it hones in on a target (usually you).
Shield
Daimyo will pull its wide, shield-like claws in towards itself and compact itself. This results in almost all weapons bouncing. Sometimes it’ll attack right out of this shielding attack, and other times it’ll just stop shielding itself, leaving its body open for attack.
