Tigrex is a Flying Wyvern known for its fierce brutality and unrelenting anger. Highly territorial and unforgivingly aggressive, Tigrex will punish you with its signature charges, tackles, and 360 spins. Another thing about Tigrex is when it enters rage mode, it begins to acquire a reddish mottle to its skin. So be afraid, very afraid. Additionally, Tigrex entering rage mode is signaled, unsurprisingly, but a very loud roar. It doesn’t have as much range as other monsters, but it will deal damage to you instead of just causing you to flinch! You need High Grade Earplugs to be immune to Tigrex’s vocal cords.
Weak and pitiful, Tigrex will chomp to the side a little bit. While the attack in and of itself is not a big deal, Tigrex’s entire body becomes a hitbox, including even the tail, during this attack, rather than just the head/neck area. So be warned.
Double Side Chomp
Tigrex, when enraged, will chomp to the side twice in a row, moving forward the whole time. This covers a large amount of distance so don’t be in front of him.
Charge
Tigrex will charge towards you. When enraged, it can change direction and charge at you again up to three times. So be extra wary!
360 Spin
Tigrex will wind up briefly and then spin and move forward at the same time, whipping its tail around as it does so and inflicting a lot of damage. Sometimes Tigrex in rage mode will do a mini-charge and then chain directly into this attack with little to no warning.
Jump Attack
Tigrex will leap forward and pounce at you. Commonly performed after some sort of charge when in rage mode.
Rock Throw
Tigrex will drive its talons into the ground, flinging rocks at you.
