Yian Kut-Ku

By
Vincent Lau

The quirky, inquisitive little chicken

Areas Start Roam Rest

Yian Kut-Ku is a Bird Wyvern with a natural disposition towards checking out everything it’s never seen before when not hungry (during which time it goes around digging up Konchu to eat instead). Adorable and rather clumsy, Yian Kut-Ku will probably make you feel bad as you try to kill it. Yian Kut-Ku has some firebreathing capabilities and will sometimes fly around a little bit, so don’t bring armor that’s weak to fire.

Yian Kut-Ku is generally weakest to W ater , however its wings take more Thunder damage instead.

Attack Explanation
Tail Whip Yian Kut-Ku will do two 180 tail whips in succession.
Fireball Spit-Up From a distance, Yian Kut-Ku will spit up one cute, little fireball in an attempt to singe you. It won’t hang around for long after it hits the ground.
Fireball Run Yian Kut-Ku will run forward like a chicken, flinging fireballs to the left and right as it charges.
Triple Peck Yian Kut-Ku will run up to you and then peck at the ground a few times. When tired, Yian Kut-Ku will get its head stuck in the ground.
Backwards Hop Yian Kut-Ku will hop back to put some distance between itself and you. If close to where it lands, it causes wind pressure and will cause your hunter to flinch.
Side Chomp Yian Kut-Ku will lunge forward a little bit and chomp at the air to its left. Its tail will flick upwards a little too and can knock you on your butt. Otherwise, an easy attack to evade.
