Monster Hunter Generations

Blangonga

By
Vincent Lau
Areas Start Roam Rest
Artic Ridge 6 7, 8 3

Blangonga is a Fanged Beast who resembles a baboon and has very powerful upper body strength, as displayed by its throws, punches, and swings. Blangonga commands the packs of smaller Blango to the point where if Blangonga enters rage mode, the aggression of the Blango will increase dramatically as well.

For some reason, Blangonga can fly, and will do so to skip areas when it is transitioning. Be sure to Paintball it so that its flight antics don’t catch you off guard!

Attack Explanation
Rolling Charge Blangonga will lurch across the field and end with a combat roll. The rage is enormous and this attack can happen with little to no warning.
Lunging Punch Blangonga will wind up its favored punching arm and launch itself forward to KO you.
Ice Beam Blangonga will spit out a beam of concentrated snow. Can inflict Snowman status on you if you get caught!
Dig Blangonga will dig into the snow and then burst out in a dive bombing charge. Careful!
Ice Toss Blangonga will yank up a giant chunk of ice and throw it at you. Ouch.
Small Punch Blangonga will sometimes swipe at you if you’re right in front of it.
