Speak with Jack on the 4th Floor of the Normandy.

Jack is one of three potential romances you can do as a male Shepard. Firstly, you’ll need to recruit her to your squad by completing the main mission, Dossier: The Convict. Continue speaking with Jack throughout the game after every major mission and eventually as the conversation comes to a close, she’ll say “Why are you really asking these things”.

Here you can respond with “Yes. I want you.” which then triggers an intimate scene with you and Jack, but it’ll prevent you from pursuing any further relationship with her from that point onwards. Instead, you’ll want to choose “No, I want to get to you” to continue your relationship with her.

After you’ve completed the Horizon mission, speak with Jack again and you’ll acquire her Loyalty Mission, Subject Zero. Once you’ve returned, speak with Jack again and choose the following dialogue choices, “I’m interested” and “I do.” throughout the conversation.

During your next conversation with Jack, say “Why do you keep running?” and you’ll find out a lot about her past. You’ll now want to say “He saved you” followed by “I’m staying right here”.

Complications with Miranda¶

Once you’ve completed Miranda’s Loyalty Mission, Miranda: The Prodigal, you’ll find them having an argument in Miranda’s Office. Here you’ll want to say “Back off, Miranda” followed by either “This is a distraction” or “This ends now!” depending on your Paragon or Renegade level.
