Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

King

By
Claire Farnworth
&
Jarrod Garripoli

The strong and silent type, King offers words only when he must. Because of this however, he can be relied upon for good counsel and a keen overview of a situation, even if he comes across as aloof when he does so.

Why waste time talking when you can let your actions do it for you? King never loses his head, no matter what arises, and can be relied upon to take action when others are still deliberating about particulars. He spends a considerable amount of time assessing and thinking, more than he lets on though, and will offer counsel when he feels he must.

King is another ranged character, who uses a pair of handguns as his weapons. While his weapons don’t home in on enemies, like Ace or Cater, he has more range than those two, similar to Trey. However, the main problem with King is that he has an ammo count for his handguns, meaning he needs to reload whenever they run out.

If he is face to face with an enemy, he can perform a kick maneuver by pushing up on the left analog stick and pressing the normal attack button. He can also increase his magazine size with skills, as well as perform a point-blank shot, which can be charged with further skills. King has the lowest defense out of every character in the game, but his high HP can make up for it somewhat. He has a lot of maneuverability which can get him out of tight situations and his attacks are strong if used at the right time.

In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting countryside under the banner of the White Tiger. From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermilion Bird rose in defiance, her crystal granting magic and mighty eidolons that her disciples might cast out the technologically advanced aggressors.
