The Valley of Monsters is the final regular dungeon in the game and sports the highest enemy levels, with them being a whopping 93. The good thing is that the enemies aren’t too dangerous, although you still need to be careful. As with the Blast Site, there isn’t really a need to visit the dungeon if you’re looking for good items, but there is a l’Cie Crystal inside.
Note that you will find Akane here and she will offer to sell you some Phantoma. Also, if you visited every other dungeon she’s located in and come here, her boyfriend will be cured, although you don’t get any rewards or items from them. How rubbish!
