Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

Deuce

By
Claire Farnworth
&
Jarrod Garripoli

Quiet and unassuming, Deuce is still strong when she needs to be. She buffs her teammates and is the ultimate support character.

The overly kind one of the group, Deuce is not a pushover however. She is stubborn when she needs to be and won’t hesitate to remind people of that but she also has tremendous empathy for any situation and is probably the unsung hero of Class Zero.

Deuce’s choice of weapon is the flute, which might make for an odd one when in the heat of battle. In fact, Deuce is a character that can start out weak, but get very strong once she gets more abilities under her belt. Her playstyle is for the more advanced players, as it’s very possible to easily get hit with her, so players will need to keep on their toes.

In order to do anything with Deuce and her flute, the attack button must be held down, which makes her walk around while she plays her flute. While playing, orbs will fly out and home in on the enemy she has targeted. While her orbs are slightly slower than other ranged characters’ attacks, they have better homing ability.

In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting countryside under the banner of the White Tiger. From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermilion Bird rose in defiance, her crystal granting magic and mighty eidolons that her disciples might cast out the technologically advanced aggressors. Thrust into the tumult of war, the fate of the world and its four crystals now rests on the shoulders of fourteen brave, young warriors.
