Cinque

By

&
Jarrod Garripoli

She may seem like an airhead, but Cinque is surprisingly perceptive, even if she doesn’t always understand why. Her attack-style is like her personality; it’s definitely not for everyone.

You wouldn’t think such a slight character could wield such a hefty weapon but Cinque excelled in smashing things. Repeatedly. At first glance, her worrying lack of sense, coupled with a powerful weapon, may lead people to believe she is an accident waiting to happen. She is more perceptive and insightful than she lets on, without always understanding the weight of what she says.

Cinque is definitely a character that is not beginner-friendly, as she is slow with her attacks, due to the weight of her weapon, a mace. This makes it difficult to score Killsights and Breaksights, as each of her swings with the mace are really slow when compared to other characters. However, when she does connect, it will be for big damage, as she has one of the highest Strength stats in the game.

Her abilities are also slow, but very powerful. Earthquake and Gaia Pulse can sometimes stun enemies, allowing you to get some free shots in, so you should always have one of these two skills equipped. Don’t neglect the abilities that allow you to remain unflinching while pulling off skills. Payback is great, should you need healing, as it also damages enemies.

In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting countryside under the banner of the White Tiger. From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermilion Bird rose in defiance, her crystal granting magic and mighty eidolons that her disciples might cast out the technologically advanced aggressors.
