Jack

By
Claire Farnworth
&
Jarrod Garripoli

Overly optimisitc, Jack doesn’t take himself or life too seriously. The world could be falling down and Jack would still find a way to make light of a situation.

You can always count on Jack to put a positive spin on any situation and he doesn’t seem to take life or studies too seriously. His classmates tend to take what he says with a pinch of salt, given his lack of realism, but he can offer a much-needed sense of humor during times of despair. His training and martial prowess is about the only thing he is capable of treating with the seriousness it requires and he wields his blade with a ruthless efficiency.

Jack is a bit of a glass cannon, as he has the highest attack out of the whole group, but his defense is not so good. He wields a katana in combat and when it’s not in its sheath, Jack moves around quite slow. However, sheathing the sword again or dodging will allow Jack to move normally.

Jack can only attack once at the beginning of the game, but gains some skills to make it up to three times. While he does move slow, his attacks are quick and after every attack, you should be dodging to move around and hopefully avoid enemy attacks. Reflex, when timed properly, allows you to dodge an attack and counterattack. Lightning Flash is definitely a skill you want equipped, as Jack unleashes a combo that comes out quicker than his normal attacks.

In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting countryside under the banner of the White Tiger. From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermilion Bird rose in defiance, her crystal granting magic and mighty eidolons that her disciples might cast out the technologically advanced aggressors.
