Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII: Reunion

Best Way to Max Stats in Crisis Core Reunion

By
Matt Chard

When you’re trying to perfect your build in Crisis Core Reunion, you’re going to want to max out all of your attributes, primarily ATK, VIT, MAG, SPR, and LUCK. The maximum they can reach is 255 for every attribute. Achieving this is made possible through Materia Fusion while using item fusion to enhance your chosen stats. Combining them with accessories will make it easier to hit the cap on stats. This page will guide you through the best way to Max out your stats.

Maxing Stats in Crisis Core Reunion

First you’ll want to have either the correct limit-breaking accessory equipped such as "Adaman Bangle" iconAdaman Bangle or "Genji Armor" iconGenji Armor to reach 99,999 HP. The "Gold Hairpin" iconGold Hairpin to reach 9,999 MP, and the "Black Cowl" iconBlack Cowl to reach 9,999 AP. Also, you can equip accessories such as "Ziedrich" iconZiedrich, and "Divine Slayer" iconDivine Slayer to name a couple which’ll increase your stats across the board. You can find out which accessories increase your stats here.

Next you’ll want to farm 99 "Dark Matter" iconDark Matter which increases MAG when fusing items in Materia Fusion. These are incredibly easy to farm if you head to mission 6-6-3, head near the room with the objective, and run back and forth between that area, and the one before it. This will spawn "Lesser Worm" iconLesser Worms 90% of the time with each encounter containing 2-3 worms.

Mission 6-3-3 can be unlocked as early as Chapter 2.

The Dark Matter is a rare drop from them though, so you’ll need to have the "Mog's Amulet" iconMog’s Amulet which will guarantee that the drop will always be rare. You can purchase this from the Sec. 7 shop for 10,000 Gil, and this is unlocked by completing mission 4-4-3: Infiltration. Another accessory you’ll want to equip is the "Jeweled Ring" iconJeweled Ring. This will double the drops from enemies. With both of these equipped, you’ll be guaranteed 2x Dark Matter’s per worm. Note that the Jeweled Ring can be purchased from "Online Shop Shade" iconOnline Shop Shade which can be found in a treasure chest in mission 9-5-4: Abnormal Power or as a drop from a "Magic Pot" iconMagic Pot.

(1 of 2) You can find Lesser Worms primarily in these two locations. Walk back and forth between them to get them to spawn.

When you have around 99 Dark Matter’s, add them to whatever Materia you want to, and raise it to 99 MAG. Then fuse again the last item to your desired stat. Note: If you raise it to 100, you won’t be able to change the attribute. Below is a list where you will find what material affects what stat, and where you can get them. Using Item Fusion requires a lot of SP, head over to our SP Farm guide here.

Item Fusion costs a lot of SP, so you’ll need to farm a lot of it if you want to max all your stats.
