Scarlet Pick Guard Spider

Description

The penultimate Guard Spider, the Scarlet Pick is the boss of Mission 9-3-4. Boasting over 1,500,000 HP, this machine utilizes many of the attacks you’re used to. Its claws are incredibly powerful due to its high STR score, while its Shinra Type-100 Cannon is bafflingly weak. It can use its Hyper Laser special ability to tickle you, while its Anti-MP Field and Anti-AP Field will drain your MP/AP if you’re too close, respectively. As long as you can evade its claw strikes, you probably don’t have a lot to worry about. When defeated it’ll always drop 1x Adamantite (common) or 2x Adamantite (rare), and you can steal a Shrina Beta+ (common) or some SP Barrier Materia (rare) from it.
