All Missable Trophies/Achievements in Chapter 3

First-Rate SOLDIER

Trophy/Achievement Icon

First-Rate SOLDIER

Defeated all virtual data in the Training Room.

Trophy icon

This can be started at the start of Chapter 3. Make your way to the Training Room on the SOLDIER Floor. As you approach the door, the Trooper guarding it will tell you that the room is occupied, and entry is prohibited. Thankfully, he is a coward, and he won’t stop you from entering the room. Ignore his warning, and inside you’ll find Hojo. Talk to him to start a series of virtual battles.

  • The first battle will be against two "Wutai Private" iconWutai Privates, and one "Foulander" iconFoulander. This is an extremely easy fight, and simply slashing at them will take them down quicker than you can read this guide.

  • For the second battle, you’ll be up against three Guard Hounds. Although a little tougher than the last battle, it isn’t by much. Once again, simply slash at them until they’re defeated.

  • Now you’ll get a choice on whether you want to fight another battle. Choose the “I’ll fight everything you throw at me!” option to start the third battle. Another easy battle, but this time you’ll fight two "Blood Taste" iconBlood Tastes. Like the last two battles, this won’t require much effort, so just slash away.

  • You’ll get another choice after the previous battle where Hojo will ask if you want to participate in an extra-special program that he has. Select the “Bring it on!” option to fight the fourth, and final battle. This can actually be tough as you’ll have to fight “"Experiment No.88" iconExperiment No.88” which is just the "Behemoth" iconBehemoth you fought at the beginning of the game. Although it can deal a decent amount of damage to you, it shouldn’t cause you too many problems. You can make this fight trivial by equipping either Thunder Blade or any of your strongest "Thunder" iconThunder magic as that is its weakness. To make things even easier, equip the "Shinra Alpha" iconShinra Alpha, and the Bulletproof Accessories, and you’ll barely take any damage.

After defeating all of Hojo’s experiments, you’ll have a short scene then you’ll unlock the trophy/achievement. You can find the full guide for this trophy/achievment here

(1 of 5) Speak to Hojo in the training room to undertake several virtual battles.

Everyone's Hero

Trophy/Achievement Icon

Everyone's Hero

Saved everyone calling for help during the assault on the Shinra Building in Chapter 3.

Trophy icon

You can’t earn this trophy/achievement until you progress through the main story mission. During the part when the assault on Shinra is happening, you’ll be on the elevator. While you’re riding it, you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to “Hurry to the entrance” or “Get off and look around”. Choose the second option, and you’ll need to save five people.

There are three on the SOLDIER Floor with two of them being in the hallway, and the last one being in the Training Room. As soon as you enter the SOLDIER Floor, you’ll have a scene with a researcher which will be followed by a battle against some Red Saucers. Continue on through the hallway, past the Briefing Room where you’ll find a SOLDIER on the floor. Approach him for another battle, and defeat the Red Saucers to get a short scene of him thanking you, and an "Ether" iconEther.

Now head to the Training Room on the same floor, and as you approach the door, you’ll hear a scream. Head inside, and you’ll get a scene where a couple of civilians are being attacked by Red Saucers. After the scene, you’ll be in a battle where you’ll be surrounded by them. Take them out, and you’ll get another scene. It appears they were doing some extracurricular activities, and they’ll ask you not to tell anyone. Accept their plea, and you’ll get a nice bonus of 5,000 Gil!

Now head back to the elevator and “Head back to the entrance right away”. You’ll unlock Cissnei’s "Lucky Stars" iconLucky Stars limit break, and end up in Sector 8 - Fountain. Make your way north into LOVELESS Avenue, and you’ll find your fourth victim to the left of the entrance who is being attacked by a large mech. Head over to them to initiate a battle with a "Sweeper" iconSweeper. If you have access to "Fira" iconFira, a few well-placed shots will make short work of it, even though it isn’t its weakness. If you don’t Thunder Blade will destroy it.

After the battle, the civilian will reward you with some "Earrings" iconEarrings. Finally, head to the opposite side (right of the entrance) to find another Sweeper attacking a couple of civilians. Once again, head over to them to initiate another battle against a Sweeper which this time comes with a couple of Red Saucers. Use Fira or Thunder Blade to make short work of them, and the civilians will thank you by giving you an "Amulet" iconAmulet. Once the scene ends, you’ll be rewarded with the trophy/achievement. You can find the full guide for this trophy/achievement here.
