A very simple location, There isn’t much to this small path until you are able to teach a Pokémon the Surf manoeuvre at a later point in the game, a skill with which you’ll be able to access much more powerful opponents in this very first route.

Points of Interest

  • Once you have Surf, you can battle three trainers with Level 34 and 35 Pokemon across the water.

This Route is tiny, with only a few patches of grass in which to catch some Pokémon and train your own. Do take the time to level your creature up and catch a couple of beasts to bulk out your team.

Having been educated in the art of Pokemon catching, be sure to try it out for yourself!

The woman nearby will give you a Potion as well, so grab it and continue north. After three grass patches you’ll find the next town.
