Guide

At this point in time, there’s no need to purposely drag yourself here. Described as a “popular place for tourists”, Desert Resort is hardly much of a “resort”; the deep sands and harsh Sandstorm makes it a rather unpleasant place to just stroll around.

Yet if you can brave the perilous conditions, you can find a wealth of trainers to hone your skills on, as well as the usual rare Pokemon and items. Like Route 4, walking around in the deep sand will trigger Pokemon battles more often than not, so bear this in mind while making your way around.

Should your Pokemon need healing, simply speak to the Doctor who can be found as soon as you exit the gatehouse separating the Desert Resort from the rest of the world. Just be wary that he’ll challenge you to a fight before he’ll cough up his services!

If you make it towards the north-east corner of the desert, you can find an entrance to Relic Castle , surrounded by statues. Keen explorers may also find an alternative entrance in the north-west corner, but that’s more of an exit than an entrance if you look inside…
