Striaton City

Background¶

Striaton is a fairly contemporary town full of high-rise apartment blocks and a pretty park.

• Striaton is home to the first Gym in which you’ll need to battle a leader with a Pokémon strong to your choice of starting creature.
• A character in this city will tell you about the ‘ Dream World ’ if you talk to her, a strange element of DS/PC connectivity.

Guide¶

Waddle to the north and a helpful local will tell you that the gym leader isn’t at home, meaning you’ll have to find them before you can arrange a scrap.

Two buildings over to the left is the trainer school, you’ll find Cheren inside with his face up to the blackboard, he will tell you that the leader recently left but for that bit of information he demands a battle.

L:ike any rival, Cheren will want to test you consistently as you journey through Unova.

After beating Cheren head back to the gym, here you’ll find the green haired gym leader hanging around outside. You’re free to enter now, however it’s recommended you take a trip to the location in the top right of town.
