This is a step-by-step walkthrough for Fallout 3, a step being the smallest division of walkthrough content discussing the task immediately at hand. How to win a specific fight, or to navigate through the area you’re currently in, where to go to find an objective, or a sweet stash of loot, etc. Steps have their own short title and are numbered sequentially. Once in a while, when there are multiple possible outcomes to a quest, you’ll be told to skip around depending on what you want to do. Under each step’s title, any important items you can find in that can be found in that step will be noted. These typically include Bobbleheads, skill books, and other collectibles. Unique items will be bolded in the walkthrough text, as well mentions of specific quests. References to skills and perks will be italicized . Achievements and Trophies will be noted when they are obtained, but only those that are always gained at that time, if you’ve been following the guide sequentially. Variable Achievements and Trophies (kill a certain number of creatures, succeed at so many Speech challenges, reach a certain level with a certain amount of karma, etc.) will not be listed.
