Sniper Elite 5

Equipment

By
Paul McNally

For lots more information on how Skill Points work, make sure you read our introduction to Skill Points on the Combat Skills page above.

Here we will look at the second of the three Skill Point circles - containing the Equipment skills.

The Equipment skills in Sniper Elite 5.

Best Equipment Skill Points in Sniper Elite 5

To start unlocking skills in any circle, you need to first unlock the centre segment. From there you can then spin out to skills on the second inner circle, before finally unlocking those on the edges. You cannot unlock an outer circle skill, without first having unlocked the one leading to it.

In Equipment, the central skill you need to unlock first is Scavenge Weapon Ammo, which lets you grab ammo from weapons you find lying around on the ground.

Now, once again, working clockwise around the circle outwards the skills to unlock are:

Carry more decoys

Fairly self explanatory. We went through the entire single player game without using a decoy once, so you decide whether this one is worth your while.

Carry More Explosives

Up the amount of TNT and grenades you can move around with.

Carry More Traps

Same as above only for traps.

Extra Item Slot 1

Slightly more useful, adds an extra slot to your starting loadout options.

Now, moving on to the outer circle from the top.

Pistol Special Ammo

Add a second box of Pistol special ammo to your loadout

Secondary Special Ammo

The same as above for your SMG

Rifle Special Ammo

And one to complete the set allowing you to carry a second box of special ammo for the rifle. Probably the most useful of the three.

Extra Ammo Slot 2

And finally another item slot for your loadout.

Best Skills to choose in Equipment

Of the three circles, we find the Equipment the least important. Having said that the extra box of special ammo for the rifle comes in useful. And if you are the kind of player who likes to lay traps, you might want to add that one earlier on in your game too.
