Sniper Elite 5

Workbenches

By
Paul McNally

The three workbenches on Sniper Elite 5’s Mission 4: War factory are all relatively simple to get to. In fact, this level didn’t seem as packed full of enemy as some of the earlier ones, so it is possible to get to them all without clearing much of the map of enemy soldiers first.

Where to find the workbenches in Mission 4: War Factory

The location of all three workbenches on the War Factory level.

As you will be able to see from the map above the workbenches are in relatively close proximity. A couple of satchel charges won’t go amiss to access a couple of them easily, so if you get the chance to collect any on your travels, don’t pass it up.

Workbench 1 - SMG workbench

(1 of 2) This is the ledge you need to crouch down on to avoid being spotted by the armoured car.

This one is pretty easy to find although you will either have to deal with the armoured car that constantly patrols the road outside or make sure you time your entrance.Wait until the AC has headed off in the opposite direction after hiding round the corner from its depot.

Once it has gone you probably have around 30 seconds before it returns. Sprint across the road and down the side of the building where you will find a ladder to climb. Head up there and make your way, crouching, to the front of the building. Again, don’t get spotted by the armoured car or things will get complicated really fast.

Place a satchel charge on the door to blow it and in you go. Access the workbench to get the SMG unlocks.

Workbench 2 - Rifle workbench

(1 of 2) Locate the ladder down into the cellar. This is in a locked room.

Locate the ladder down into the cellar. This is in a locked room. (left), The Resistance workshop will give you a nice suppression kit for your rifle. (right)

This workbench is hiding underneath a Resistance safehouse which you access by entering through the lare doors on one side. You can only make your way around one side of the building as the easier route is blocked off. Watch out for guards, but then once you are inside, kill everybody and you should collect a key. This will open a door into a large room that seemingly has nothing of interest in it, at least until you spot the ladder going down into the cellar. That’s where you will find your rifle workbench and a nice suppression kit for your beauty..

Workbench 3 - Pistol workbench

(1 of 2) Use a satchel charge or a looted key to get into the final Workbench room.

The is another workbench you might need a satchel charge to access if you have not managed to steal the key from an officer that you kill. There are three doors in quick succession on the far side of the building, two lead to the control room where you will find some goodies and the third is where you will locate the Pistol upgrades for the level.
