A considerable upgrade on the Machine Pist.40. The Pist.44 model was the first majorly successful assault rifle capable of hitting targets at a worthwhile distance, while remaining effective in close-quarters battles.

Machine Pist.44 Pros and Cons¶
Perfectly acceptable power and long or short range the Machine Pist.44 is a handy weapon to have slung over your back in Sniper Elite 5, and that’s good because they are in plentiful supply when you gun down the enemy.

Audible Range¶
The audible range of the Machine Pist.44 is 100m unmodified, but as we have said elsewhere, if you are using a sub machine gun, chances are the need to keep things quiet has already passed you by.
Zoom¶
1x - All the SMGs here are only coming with 1x zoom so it really isn’t a factor. The way you are using them, you probably want to be shooting from the hip rather than looking down the sight anyway.
Magazine size¶
Slightly lower than our last couple of weapons, the Pist.44 has a basic 30 capacity in its mag and this can be upgraded to add a further 10 cartridges to give it a 40 round limit. Still more than enough to get the majority of jobs done and done effectively.
