Used heavily by Resistance forces in France because of its mobility, the Stengun MK 2 is also blessed with many customisation options - the most in the game, so if there is something you don’t like about it, you can probably change it up.
Stengun Mk2 Pros and Cons¶
Another iconic weapon, the unusual looking Sten has been seen in plenty of WWII movies, usually carried by brave Resistance fighters. Where the MK2 really shines in Sniper Elite 5 however is the remarkable number of tweaks you can make to it.
Pros¶
- Quiet SMG
- Great customisation options
Cons¶
- Weak damage
Audible Range¶
Comparatively quiet for an SMG the Stengun’s audible range is just 85m, which you can suppress further with the right attachments too. This means you can almost work stealthily with an SMG should the need arise.
Zoom¶
1x - All the SMGs here are only coming with 1x zoom so it really isn’t a factor. The way you are using them, you probably want to be shooting from the hip rather than looking down the sight anyway.
Magazine size¶
Back to the more standard 32 base mag with a potential 12 shell upgrade. 44 bullets in this classic SMG is plenty enough to do a world a damage to the Nazi movement.
How to get the Stengun MK2 SMG in Sniper Elite 5¶
Complete Mission 6: Liberation.
