Sniper Elite 5

Machine Pist.40

By
Paul McNally

This ergonomic 9mm sub machine gun reloads quickly and is easy to use. What’s not to love? A decent size magazine and relatively low-noise firing mechanism complete the package.

Quick and easy to use, the Machine Pist.40 can be found everywhere in Sniper Elite 5.

Machine Pist.40 Pros and Cons

A slowish rate of fire and lack of power hold the Pist.40 back from greatness. You will however find them in abundance when you kill your enemies so yuo are bound to find yourself using one before too long.

Pros

  • Easy to control

Cons

  • Low power

Audible Range

With an audible range of 90m this sits in the middle of the SMG range. You are never going to find a quiet machine gun though, so just embrace the nose as you empty that massive magazine into the side of a personnel carrying truck.

Zoom

1x - All the SMGs here are only coming with 1x zoom so it really isn’t a factor. The way you are using them, you probably want to be shooting from the hip rather than looking down the sight anyway.

Magazine size

Similar to the Welgun the magazine size starts off at an impressive 32, but can be modded up with a further 12, giving an exciting 44 cartridge magazine. Once again, if you are going through that amount of ammo, the biggest challenge will be keeping ti stocked up.
